International Cheese Awards Press Release April 2016: Get your entries in for ICA2016!

Last year’s International Cheese Awards was a real record breaker, with a grand total of 4,615 entries (a 3.5% increase on 2014’s previous high) from 274 exhibitors (13.5 % up on 2014), based in 31 different countries. More than 200 judges sampled them all (troopers, each and every one) and the Supreme Champion UK was eventually announced as Greenfields Dairy for their lovely Lancashire cheese. Reserve Supreme Champion UK was awarded to 2014 winner Colston Bassett for their Stilton, with our overseas winners a tasty Manchego from Bradburys Cheese (Reserve Supreme Champion Overseas) and a delicious Gouda from E.M. Treur en Zn. BV as the Supreme Champion.

Well, now it’s almost time to do it all again, and with this year’s show taking place on Tuesday 26th July (Judging and Trade Day) and Wednesday 27th July (Show Day) we’ve opened up the entries in the hunt to find the best cheese of 2016.
